I am a graduate of the Medical University of Bialystok. Initially, I was associated with the Orthopedic Clinic of the Regional Specialized Hospital in Kielce.
Since 2018, I have been working, as a senior assistant in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Bródnowski Hospital in Warsaw.
I specialize in the treatment of degenerative joint changes with a particular emphasis on the use of minimally invasive techniques in hip replacement ( MIS DAA technique, which is an anterior access that allows to replace the joint without cutting off the muscle attachments, giving a quick return to function, and in the long term – no problems with muscle atrophy) and knee (using surgical access that spares the quadriceps attachment to the patella), as well as the development of replacements with the possibility of using modern techniques that give individualization of implants and navigation assistance during the procedure, also in cases of performing revision surgery due to loosening and fracture, when implant replacement is needed.
I perform bone anastomosis procedures after fractures involving the upper and lower extremities, using both plate systems and intramedullary nails.
I also deal with, provision of metastatic tumor lesions in the bones (fractures and primary foci) and non-malignant lesions in the musculoskeletal region.
In my daily practice, I use ultrasound (I am certified by the Roztocze School of Ultrasound). I perform under ultrasound guidance delivery injections, blocks and administration of patient’s blood products like platelet rich plasma or Orthokine.
In 2018, I defended my dissertation comparing the results of cementless total hip replacement from anterior and posterior access.
Author and co-author of scientific articles. I actively participate in writing papers and researching new surgical techniques and evaluating the results of our work.
I am a member of the Polish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System. Participant and presenter of trainings in Poland and abroad (including Graz, Bologna, Brussels, Jeddah, Riyadh), promoting and expanding the knowledge of traumatology, joint endoprosthesis and provision of cancer metastases.
